Adults Care
and Support
Flexible, person-centred care packages for adults aged 18 to 65 and seniors aged 65 and over. From a few hours of support each week to 24-hour live-in care, everything is built around the individual.
Tailored care that grows with you
At Providence Centered Care, we believe every adult, regardless of their diagnosis or history, has the right to live with dignity, choice and independence. Our adult care services are not built around targets or tick boxes. They are built around people.
We start with a thorough assessment, then create a flexible care package that fits around the individual's life. As needs change, the package changes too. We are with our service users for as long as they need us, and our goal is always to support greater independence over time.
Our care workers are matched carefully to each service user, taking into account their cultural background, language, religion, gender preferences and personality. That compatibility makes a real difference.
Our care services for adults
We provide a wide range of flexible care packages, from basic support to 24-hour assistance. All services are individually assessed and regularly reviewed.
Homecare and Personal Care
Respectful, dignified support in people's own homes covering personal hygiene, domestic tasks, medication support, incontinence assessments, and social activities. From a few hours a week to 24-hour care.
Live In Care
A trained and vetted carer moves into the client's home and provides continuous support day and night. The preferred alternative for many families to a residential care setting — familiar surroundings, one-to-one care, full independence of routine.
Supported Living
Accommodation-based support in our purpose-built properties. Each resident has a private space with 24/7 staff on site, working through a structured three-tier programme toward greater independence.
Dementia Specialist Care
Dedicated support for people living with dementia, delivered by staff trained in dementia-aware care. Built around consistency, familiarity, meaningful engagement and close family involvement. Available in-home and within supported living.
Palliative and End of Life Care
When someone is living with a terminal illness, Providence provides compassionate end of life support covering physical comfort, medication assistance, emotional and spiritual care, and practical daily help. Families are supported too.
Community Mental Health Outreach
Regular, reliable support for people with severe or enduring mental illness living independently in the community. Scheduled home visits, medication management assistance, daily living help and crisis support planning, coordinated with NHS mental health trusts.
Reablement Service
Intensive short-term support (typically six weeks) for people coming out of hospital. The goal is to rebuild confidence and independence so the person needs less support over time, not more. Heavily funded by local authorities.
Dual Diagnosis and Substance Misuse
Specialist support for people managing both a mental health condition and a substance misuse issue. Providence works carefully and without judgment, focusing first on stability then on underlying factors, alongside clinical and addiction services.
Rehabilitation Support
Post-stroke, post-injury or post-illness support for adults working to regain physical function and daily living skills. Delivered in coordination with occupational therapists and NHS rehabilitation teams as part of a joined-up recovery plan.
Carer Support and Respite
Support for unpaid family carers through planned respite breaks, carer assessments, guidance on entitlements and access to support groups. Caring for carers is not optional — it is essential to the long-term wellbeing of the whole family.
Telecare and Digital Monitoring
Remote monitoring technology including falls sensors, medication reminder devices and emergency alert systems. Available as standalone or as an add-on to existing homecare. Gives families peace of mind and supports greater independence.
Emergency Placements
When someone needs urgent support with no time for a lengthy process, Providence is ready to respond. We have the capacity, the staff and the systems to move fast without compromising on quality or safety. Call directly for emergencies.
Conditions and needs we specialise in

Our core values in practice
Everything we do is grounded in the principles of individuality, self-management, confidentiality, partnership, choice, dignity, respect and empowerment. These are not just words on a page at Providence. They shape every interaction our team has with each service user, every single day.
