A provider you can genuinely rely on

Commissioners tell us that finding a placement is only half the challenge. The other half is knowing it will hold. At Providence, we invest in the quality of our care delivery so that placements are stable, outcomes are positive and the calls you get from us are updates, not crises.

We are CQC registered and compliant. Every member of our staff is DBS checked, trained and supervised. Our safeguarding leads are experienced and our incident reporting is thorough and timely.

We have capacity for both planned and emergency placements, and we can typically confirm suitability within a matter of hours for urgent cases.

We provide regular written outcome reports and can attend professionals meetings, reviews and CPA meetings.

We provide clear, all-inclusive costings. No hidden charges. We can work within agreed local authority frameworks.

Experienced safeguarding leads

The referral process, step by step

1

Submit your referral

Use our online referral form or call us directly. For emergency placements, always call. Our referral form accepts document uploads and allows you to flag urgency level.

2

Initial response

All referrals receive an acknowledgement within 24 hours. Emergency referrals are reviewed immediately, and you will hear back within hours, not days.

3

Assessment and matching

We review the referral, assess suitability and identify the right placement and support team. We may request an assessment visit or additional information at this stage.

4

Placement confirmation and start

Once accepted, we agree the start date, funding terms and care plan framework. We keep you updated throughout the transition and at regular review points.

Emergency Placements

We understand that emergencies do not happen between nine and five. Our duty manager is reachable around the clock for urgent placements, and we aim to confirm capacity within hours of your first contact.

We can accept emergency placements for adults and children, and our team is experienced in handling complex, high-need cases at short notice.
